Scott is a practicing geotechnical and structural engineer who consults on complex problems related to below-grade construction, soil-structure interaction, and impacts from adjacent construction activity. His experience consulting for various client types helps him effectively interface with various project stakeholders, frame and simplify problems, and guide teams toward efficient solutions. As Division Head, Scott leads and mentors a multi-disciplinary team of structural, geotechnical, and civil engineers—actively participating in their career development and professional involvement. He currently serves on an advisory board for the Massachusetts Board of Building Regulations and Standards and as the chairperson for a new American Society of Civil Engineers foundation design standard under development.
