Jesse’s expertise in structural and civil engineering includes soil-structure interaction for buried structures, nuclear structures, highway bridges, and construction management. Clients and SGH staff benefit from Jesse’s experience with Washington State DOT as a construction engineer and bridge designer, which gives him broad managerial and technical perspective. Jesse leads national research studies and codes development, investigates structural failures, and assists manufacturers and contractors with analysis, materials and field testing, design, and specification development. Under Jesse’s leadership, Engineering Mechanics & Infrastructure professionals in Boston; Houston; Los Angeles; New York; and Washington, DC pursue practice of engineering mechanics with passion, purpose, and rigor. Jesse is also a veteran of the United States Army.
