Fred brings expertise in structural mechanics to support his clients in assessing and mitigating risks for their most important infrastructure assets. He specializes in seismic probabilistic risk assessment, fragility analysis, dynamic response analysis, soil-structure interaction, structural design, and applied research for critical structures and equipment. Fred’s range of clients include owners, operators, and technology developers in the energy, transportation, and technology sectors, as well as the nuclear, oil and gas, hydroelectric, and water infrastructure industries. His clients appreciate his responsiveness, clear communication style, and flexibility to tackle unique and complex problems in his project work. Fred tutors high school math students through a local volunteer program, and chairs several technical committees for ASME, ANS, and ASCE.
