SGH Structural Engineering Professionals Take Part in 2024 SEAOC Convention

Several Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) team members recently participated in the 2024 Structural Engineers Association of California (SEAOC) Convention from 3 to 7 September in Portland, OR. The event convened structural engineers and other professionals from across the industry to discuss the latest developments in structural engineering and share best practices and innovative solutions.

SGH professionals presented during five technical sessions:

  • Paul Cordova presented “Understanding SB 721 and SB 326: A Practical Guide for Structural Engineers” with Zander Danto of Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates and David Kane of Harrell Kane Structural Engineers. The paper was co-authored by Isela Dy of San Francisco Public Works and Zeyang Arthur Cao of Forell | Elsesser Structural Engineers.
