SGH Staff to Participate in Facade Tectonics Institute’s 2020 World Congress
Several members of Simpson Gumpertz & Heger’s (SGH) Building Technology group will take part in the Facade Tectonics Institute’s (FTI) biennial World Congress, which will take place virtually each Wednesday and Thursday from 5-27 August. This year’s World Congress theme, “Face Time 2020: Better Buildings through Better Skins,” will gather players from the AEC and real estate industries for paper presentations, expert-led group discussions, and a virtual networking expo.
At the event, SGH Consulting Engineer Brienna Rust will participate on the symposium’s leadership team as a member of FTI’s Special Advisory Council and Marketing & Media committee. “I’m excited to take part in this event to collaborate and learn alongside our peers and colleagues throughout the industry,” said Brienna. “This year’s online forum creates an even larger audience and, in turn, even greater collaboration. There’s so much potential here and I can’t wait to see what it produces.”
SGH staff members will present three paper presentations and moderate an interactive workshop at the World Congress.
