SGH Experts to Participate in ASCE Forensic Engineering Congress

The American Society of Civil Engineers’ (ASCE) Forensic Engineering Division will hold the 10th Forensic Engineering Congress from 1 to 4 November 2024 in Seattle, WA. The congress will gather experts from multiple disciplines to share their knowledge and experience.

On the first day of the event, Simpson Gumpertz & Heger’s (SGH) Nathaniel Smith and REI Engineers, Inc.’s John Wylie will teach the short course “Pre-Construction Surveys of Adjoining Structure – Guidelines for Practicing Engineers: An Interactive Review of the Proposed Guidelines.” ASCE’s Committee on Forensic Investigations drafted a publication outlining best practices for performing these surveys.
