SGH Oil & Gas and Marine Engineering Experts to Participate at Gastech 2024 in Houston
Several Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) team members with structural engineering expertise related to oil and gas facilities will take part in this year’s Gastech Exhibition & Conference in Houston, TX. The event takes place from 17-20 September 2024, convening more than 50,000 attendees, 800 exhibitors, and 1,000 speakers from around the globe to discuss the latest trends and research on energy-related sustainability and security.
Team members from SGH’s Houston office—including Principal Carlos Ospina and Associate Principal Önder Akinci—will attend to network and share insights on the challenges and opportunities facing the global oil, gas, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) industries. They will also host exhibit booth B586 to meet with attendees and discuss SGH’s consulting services for oil and gas facilities and marine infrastructure. Our staff members will showcase examples and best practices from our recent LNG safety research, LNG tank assessments, and marine terminal projects.
