How Do Failure Analysis and Investigation Inform Future Decisions?

When failures happen, our investigation and analysis efforts help us learn more about underlying factors and causes to mitigate potential risks in the future. As SGH’s Roofing and Waterproofing Practice Area leader, I’ve seen many projects where we needed to dive deeper into a topic that we had questions about. In this video, I highlight how our investigation work informs new design efforts, and how we use self-funded research and material science testing in our Applied Science & Research Center to inform our engineering work.
