The September 2016 issue of Concrete International Magazine includes an article by Jared Brewe, Gustavo Tumialan, and Paul Kelley. The article, “Evolution of ACI 562 Code Part 7,” is part of a series produced by members of ACI Committee 562 – Evaluation, Repair, and Rehabilitation of Concrete Buildings. In the series, “Existing Concrete Structures “ Learning Lessons and Advancing Solutions,” committee members explain the rationale behind some of the changes in the ACI 562-16 Code as well as share example problems, ideas, concepts, and thoughts discussed in committee meetings.
