Josh Kivela brings a wide range of project technical expertise to his projects informed by real-life experiences in the field and laboratory analysis in SGH’s Applied Science & Research Center. He specializes in designing high-performance enclosure systems that integrate complex glazing, wall, roofing, and waterproofing systems, with a particular focus on high-end contemporary structures. As a committed mentor, he leads successful project teams and coaches team members to anticipate client needs and provide informed solutions through training opportunities and construction workshops. Josh’s clients look to him for durable, innovative approaches to overcome complex building problems through investigation, assessment, and collaborative design. Josh has a passion for improving everything he does and is an active participant in the engineering community, including serving as a former officer on the ASTM International Committee D08 – Roofing and Waterproofing.
