 Jared is the Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of The Future Hunters, one of the world’s leading futurist consulting companies. He evaluates emerging global trends for many of the world’s most prominent companies, trade associations, and public sector clients. Jared is past Chairman of the Board of the World Future Society and has also served on American Express OPEN’s Digital Advisory Board. His programs draw upon his extensive experience to distinguish long-term trends from fads, contextualize the future for audiences, help people identify profit opportunities that lie ahead, and get people thinking in new ways. 

Jen is a strategist, trainer, and presentation coach who guides firms to develop and implement strategy, objectives, initiatives, and plans that align with their company’s vision as a foundation for long-term success. Jen has spent over 25 years in the AEC industry and has built a reputation for helping firms grow, lead, and thrive.  

Doug McKeown is the former CEO and Chairman of Woodard & Curran, an integrated science, engineering, design-build, and operations company specializing in water and environmental projects. He led the company from 2007 to 2020, growing it from 80 to over 1,200 employees, tripling its size, building a national footprint, and expanding employee ownership. Since retiring, Doug has focused on Board work and executive development, serving on several boards, including Northern Light Mercy Hospital, Larson Design Group, and Walter P. Moore. He is also a faculty member at the ACEC Senior Executive Institute, mentoring executive leaders in the engineering industry.

Dan Oblinger is a hostage negotiator who loves engineers, designers, and technical professionals!  After 22 years in law enforcement, crisis negotiations, and hostage rescues, Dan works with AEC companies to help foster cultures of emotional communication, active listening, and relationship-based negotiation. He is a husband, father of six, and a graduate of the FBI’s prestigious National Crisis Negotiator Course in Quantico, VA. His keynotes, workshops, consulting and coaching services, and books are a powerful component of numerous emerging leader and project management training programs across the US. Dan is on a mission to help everyone he meets become better listeners, leaders, and lovers of their fellow humans! 

Justin Smith, SE, PE, MBA is an AEC leadership and project management subject matter expert with 16 years of experience working with engineers and architects. He has a proven track record of business growth and profitability in diverse and highly technical programs. Justin brings a practitioner’s eye to consulting and regularly offers his expertise to various audiences.  

Meg is a consultant, clinical psychologist, and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine. She has spent 15 years working on systems change and organizational improvement. She coaches leaders nationwide in improving leadership skills and enhancing team functioning.
