UC Berkeley Doe/Moffitt Library

SGH consulted on the waterproofing system for this four-story underground addition to the university's library, including plaza decks and specialized below-grade waterproofing. We developed details and specifications, and provided construction administration to address the many waterproofing conditions for the system which covered all sides of the underground library which is situated between the existing Doe and Moffitt libraries. We assisted in the design of the underslab and wall dewatering systems to collect water and divert it around the library extension.
